twelve

twelve months. 

I can't believe we made it!

This past month Violet has finally started to walk around the house... assisted of course. She is still working on the walking by herself part.
Here are some pictures from the last month 

 She was a little indian chief for Thanksgiving.

 Her favorite place is at the park where she loves the swings and feeding the ducks

She has mastered the facial expressions, and cracks me up with her furrowed brow and her cheesey face grin.
At 12 months, I am still nursing this little babe... although desperately trying to quit. This little girl has been spoiled and has always been nursed to sleep for every nap and bedtime... so it has been very interesting to get her to go to sleep on her own. Especially when she hates pacifiers, and has never taken a bottle - her sippy cup isn't the most soothing thing either. 
she has 6 teeth, and as of 11 1/2 months weighed 17 lbs... she goes in tomorrow for her 1 year checkup. I have been pumping her up with pediasure the last week (she isn't a huge fan of whole milk).
We love little Violet so much more than we could have ever imagined. She has made this year the best of our lives.

This picture would have been our christmas card if we had actually sent them out this year. It's amazing how crazy it gets with her birthday right before Christmas, and traveling to yuma and Prescott every weekend! Pictures from Violet's bday coming next... and of course Christmas and New Years too!
