two thousand and twelve

All of a sudden I just realized that it has already been a month since Violet turned one, and I don't have to take a month to month picture anymore... sad? or... relieved? 

It definitely doesn't stop me from taking about a million pictures of her in between those month to months. 

Here are some pictures to tell our story from the last month

Tanner and I got the flu, and poor Violet had to fend for herself for dinner. I literally threw a bunch of food on her tray and watched her feed herself from the couch.

 

We headed out to the Peanut Patch while in Yuma for the weekend. 

 We found the camel farm in yuma as well. It was actually pretty cool. We got to hold and feed some of the animals there. It was miserably hot that day, and it's amazing that we got a sunburn in January

She may be afraid of most animals, but not baby goats! She even gave it a hug.

we went to the train park in scottsdale together when Tanner ACTUALLY had a day off!

 

I also cut bangs this month. I have some good days, and some bad

besides the fact that I look like I am back in junior high, I love Violet's pose for this picture

 

We also went to the zoo in Prescott. I guess I have a thing for zoos because we went to the phoenix zoo with friends the following week. pictures to come!

I think this year is going to be a good one. Next month we will be back up in Prescott... so I am sure we will find some more fun things to do!
