nine

Violet has now been in this world longer than she was inside of me. For nine months being pregnant I wanted time to speed up, and now I can't get it to slow down. 

I took Violet in this past thursday for her check up and this little girl really is little!

at 9 months

she weighs a whopping 15lbs. 2.5 oz. 

which makes her in the 3-5 percentile. yes, 3-5!

so hopefully this next month we can stuff her full of food

she is however in the 50-75th percentile for her height - so at least we don't have to worry about that.

 Violet had a busy month. On my birthday, she got her very first tooth AND started crawling. It was a fantastic day. 

one week later she got her second tooth.

she LOVES to "read" books and laugh quietly to herself while looking at the pictures,

she loves to play peek-a-boo and follow me all around the house waiting for me to jump out at her in odd places and yell "PEEK-A-BOO!" it cracks her up

and she loves to bang anything that makes noise against the tile. i supply her with blocks, lids to my pans, old remotes, (she prefers anything that isn't actually a TOY...)

 Violet has become OBSESSED with this photo. She flips around on her tummy to look at it EVERY time I try to change her diaper.

I couldn't see what she was doing, and when I told her to turn around and smile at the camera, I found her eating her hair bow... so sneaky

I can't wait till next month. California trip to visit my mama, and HALLOWEEN! woohoo!
