cousin extravaganza

Violet and I headed back up to Utah (after being in Sundance with friends the week before) to help my mom watch Jeff and Missy's kids for a long weekend. Since my mom, Sam, and I were all going to be in one place at the same time, Jess and the kids decided to join us as well! We all had such a blast... even with 8 kids in tow.

The first day we all went to the zoo.

Even without animals, our group was a zoo

I really like the background of this pic... seriously? we are at the zoo ALL day, and we take one good picture in front of the bathrooms.

Jeffy was more into his spray bottle than any of the animals

 Caitlyn and Lilly

 Jeffy absolutely LOVED Violet.
The first day he wanted to hold her, and said, "I think she's in love in me"

all the cousins minus Will. Sam and Bryan took him to see the monkeys

we get a little creative on the go

 happy  3rd anniversary you two!!

pretty Ivy. I love that we have an Ivy, a Lilly, and a Violet

Maddy and Josey - you girls are crazy!

The next day we went to the park, and unfortunately my camera got stuck on VIDEO mode for a couple days, so all I have are videos, and everyone knows how LONG they take to upload onto blogs. Here is a cute one though:

this one is taken from my "high quality" phone.
We also went swimming on Saturday after the park, and had a pizza party, and on Sunday we went to Temple Square and then to Sam and Bryan's for a BBQ.  Sadly - NO PICTURES

But on Monday we spent the morning taking Jeffy to Toy's R Us for his Birthday present, and then took Caitlyn and Violet to get a build-a-bear. and TADAA - I fixed my camera for the last hour we spent in Utah

I love this picture! It's like they are having a little meeting

We had an exhausting weekend, and now that I'm home, it sure feels quiet!
It was so fun to get to know Caitlyn, Jeffy, and Will better.
I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to see Jess and her kids TWICE in the last 2 months - considering it had been 3 years since I had seen them last.
I loved staying up till 3 in the morning with Sam and Mom talking, laughing, and crying.
And Violet got a chance to finally meet her fun Uncle Bryan too!
