a little late

Look I turned 6 months!
Although this picture is a tad blurry, i think it's funny that she is pointing to the number.

I have been SUPER busy over the last month finishing up school and going to Oregon -post on that later-, that I didn't get a chance to post some 6 month updates on little Violet. Even though she is now 7 months...
this picture pretty much sums up the last month

This little girlie was only 14 lbs at 6 1/2 months!
yup, she's tiny.
but easy to carry around. She sits up for small periods at a time before she gets bored and falls over to find her toys. She is trying SO hard to crawl, but results in going backwards instead of forwards.
She has the silliest personality - and it's as if she knows when something is funny and when it isn't. I have caught her laughing at the TV, and joyously entertaining herself in her crib.
She is LOVING vegetables - but REFUSES to eat ANY FRUIT besides pears. They make her gag and she actually keeps her mouth completely shut so i can't shove them in. i have even tried hiding them in her vegetables but she can still taste the fruit.  Any other ideas?? feel free to share.
Still no teeth, but I have a feeling they are coming in the next few days. Inconsolable crying during day AND night has been such a pleasure.

7 month post coming soon! Now that we are officially over due.

I love the pointing picture! So awesome. Hilarious that she hates fruit; Fara is an equal-opportunity eater... she'll pretty much eat anything, just like her dad!

I am soooo glad to see that I am not the only one with a lightweight in the family. Ella is only four pounds more then Violet and 18 months. They don't get that from their Granpa Rebers that's for sure. Those boys can eat.

They are such cute pictures. I love the one where she is pointing at the number, so funny she did that. Adorable baby! actually its pretty good she prefers veggies, that's a good thing. That's how my two girls were and they still love veggies, they also love fruits now, but veggies first made it easier for them to eat their greens. Healthy baby. Thanks for posting those cute pics.
