Arizona Idol

alright, so I must confess. Tanner forced me to try out for arizona idol this morning at the wee small hours of the morning. I have to admit, we had a hilarious time. we didn't even go to bed last night... we drove all the way to glendale at the amc movies where it was being held. we ended up driving around all night because we weren't aloud to "camp out." We were exhausted! But we had bought some GREAT treats for the night... some cheese puffs, rice cakes, water, and pepsi. a great way to start the day! They finally let us start lining up around 3:00am, and we ended up being 17th in line, out of 1500 people. so i guess it was worth it. we finally got registered around 5:30, and my audition time was at 7:00. It was sooo funny eveyone. oh my gosh, the people there... soo weird. At least i got to hang out with tanner all morning... and night i guess. we had a fun time. Here are some random pictures that we took to document our morning. we totally forgot to take a video with our camera inside the audition... but oh well. It would have been fun to watch though. I ended up singing "At Last" by Etta James. But only about 30 seconds of it. But throughout all of this... it was fun to finally get to perform again, after so long. I gave tanner a lot of crap about it, but i'm glad i did it. It was so fun.

Here is me acting like a dork inside the theater. They end up taking 15 girls and 15 boys, and they audition again at the glendale arena, and then the top 10 perform on tv, and the viewers choose. the winner gets a car and they send them to american idol to try out. Arizona idol was really big this year i guess because jordin sparks won it last year, and then went on to win american idol. It was soo crowded!
