I will start on Sunday and move backwards from there.
Sunday was this little girl's blessing
She and her daddy were amazing.
She was wide awake for the whole thing (i guess that's what you get for waiting until she's 3 months)
and was just so happy to be in her dad's arms and to be able to look at all the men that surrounded her - she is a girl after all.
Here are some quick pics from the day:
Just hanging out
We hosted a little brunch afterward for family and friends
grandpa and grammy
Uncle Chase (i swear she was happy)
with mama
with her dad
Grandpa Burden
Aunt Ashley, Uncle Kyle, Aunt Brook, and Uncle Chase. Violet is a lucky niece.
Our great friends and practically family - Greg, Bethanie and adorable Addy, and Austin, Brynna, and cute little Brylie
Now For Saturday
Our wonderful friends, Austin and Brynna came from California to hang out with the gang (see above picture of "the gang")
and while they were here
we had a lot of firsts.
We went to the park down the road, and while I packed extra outfits, extra burp rags, and extra diapers for violet....
once we got to park I realized i had completely forgotten my shoes!
so... that was a first, and probably not a last.
The first time to the park with friends
and while these little girlies were doing that, Violet was doing this:
What a party pooper
First time on a horse
First time to be out in the hot sun
First time to see a carousel
and the first time feeding the ducks (Tanner is demonstrating to Violet)
And here was a fun picture from st. patty's day

Alli, her dress is SO BEAUTIFUL. And you look incredible, especially in that picture of Violet on the horse. I think that might be my favorite picture of you ever. You just look like such a cute, fun mom! Wish we could have been there for the blessing; I would have preferred it over Texas for SURE!
