i wish we had taken this picture a little earlier... we missed a few people in it that had left already! but please notice tanner holding his brand new parakeets that he got for his birthday! haha... more to come. we have used all of the presents... movies, games, and of course the super soakers which we used TODAY when tanner was outside cleaning in 100 degree weather.
here are two of tanner's cakes that he asked for, he also wanted an ice cream cake that i was supposed to make, but walmart was all out of the ice cream i wanted... haha.. that I wanted. so it is still coming i promise tan!and of course i look like the devil in this picture... as i do in all pictures because my eyes are ALWAYS red.
and here are our new birds. we started with the blue one which greg, bethany and I got him. Tanner named him Jet. i was a little worried.. because as most of you know, tanner and I are NOT pet people whatsoever, but these are the greatest birds EVER! we love them. really we do. we got a second one, because we were afraid the blue one was lonely, because it was sooo quiet and calm. it would just sit on tanner's shoulder for hours. tanner took a nap, and it layed on his chest the whole time. so adorable i know... except for the poo on tanner's clothes. (from the bird in case you were wondering)
The white one is CRAZY! it has corrupted our poor jet. but they are still fun. tanner honestly takes them everywhere with him. i love it. it cracks me up. Tanner's dad called them the grandbirds... and that's excactly what they are!

Congratulations! You didn't tell me you had children! That is really hilarious. Actually I am completely surprised that you....YOU have a PET! What the heck? Is it one of those things like if you don't kill it you will try for a real human baby? Promise me you won't be THOSE PEOPLE that when they have a baby they have to introduce the birds to the baby and spend time with the birds because they are feeling left out. jk I can't believe they don't fly away. How do you manage that? And tell Tanner Happy birthday! I actually did think of him on his birthday because it is so close to Josey's. But we didn't call cause I don't know that seemed kinda weird. Apparently I should have baked him a cake.
Cute birds. I'm still not a pet person though, and you won't convince me otherwise. But I would at least play with yours.
By the way, some of my coworkers were looking at my wedding pictures today on facebook, and they were all commenting on how gorgeous my best friend is. And I was like, I know, believe me, she's even prettier in real life!
