baptism

We had a wonderful baptism this weekend for someone that has really become so close to Tanner and I! As most of you know, we are in the spanish branch, and tanner and I are in young men and young womens. These kids have really become like our own kids... even most of them calling me mom, and calling tanner dad. it's quite funny actually becuase they will be calling for their real moms, and i will be turning around to answer them. For the last year however, Tanner has been doing a lot with Octavio and helping him with school, and teaching him about church, taking him on camp outs, taking him to work, having him over for dinner and x-box, and he was finally able to get baptized this weekend! He asked Tanner to baptize him, which i know meant a lot to Tanner. I was so proud of both of them!

Alli, I love this! You need to blog more about your experiences in the Spanish branch.

I agree with Marisa. I had no idea you were in the Spanish branch. How awesome to have a baptism.

P.S. I would love to see you in the beginning of July when we're in AZ.
