This is THE spider

well, some of you already know the story of the great white spider. For those of you who do not... get ready for a scary true story that happened to me over the plast couple of weeks. perfect timing for Halloween. It all started at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Tanner and I parked in the parking garage next to Nordstrom, and we were only gone for maybe an hour. This happened on a FRIDAY night. We return to the car to find this white spider sprawled out ontop of our car.

instead of flicking it off the car, we took a picture with our phone, and then got in the car thinking the spider would just FLY off the car when we started driving. NOOOOOO! instead, the spider freaked out, crawled all over our windshield using his super strength legs to hold on for dear life, it being the smart spider it was, hid inside the side view mirror, right behind the mirror. I am spending the rest of the drive back home watching intently at the vents waiting to see a hairy white spider leg coming through. Needless to say, Tanner didn't believe me that the spider hadn't fallen off.

MONDAY.
Monday afternoon rolls around, tanner and I had given up hope on the spider, thinking that there was absolutely NO way for it to STILL be in our car. I was driving to my salon to go to a class, Look over at my window, AND THERE WAS THE SPIDER!!! It was crawling ALL OVER my window... thankfully on the outside. But on the DRIVERS side window. I was freaking out. I safely pulled into my salon, got out on the passengers side, ran over to the driver's side, and couldn't find the spider. so i carefully opened my door. and THERE IT WAS. on the inside of the door down at the bottom. SOOOO SCARY EVERYONE!! i tried to flick it out, but instead, it freaks out and runs in between the rubber matting along the inside of the door. I called Tanner to come and switch me cars, becuase from that moment on, i did NOT get into our car for an entire week.

ONE WEEK LATER.
I am still not going in that car. Tanner drove it to school all week, never finding the spider. But I KNEW it had to still be in there. The next monday, Tanner made me drive the car because he HAD to take the truck to work, becuase he didn't have time to get gas in the car. So i pleaded with him and begged, but i lost. I was bound to find that spider especially becuase Tanner didn't even believe me that it was in there. I had to prove it to him, and for my own sanity. I carefully opened the car, searched the car, at the same time freaking out that it was going to find me first. I look into a little crevice in btween the car and the door, and there it was. all huddled into a little hole. I saw those hairy legs first, and poked at it, hoping that it was dead. AND IT WAS DEAD!!! THANK GOODNESS. here is the NIGHTMARE spider that ruined a week and a half of my life. I hate this spider with a passion.

That was one of the scariest blogs I have ever read. I can't believe how UGLY that spider is. That is so scary. I am impressed that you could calmly drive your car off the road to stop, I don't think i could.

Nasty! You are more brave than I. I would have traded in my car for a new one just so I wouldn't have to see it again!

This is a horrific spider. I don't like it one bit. We live in a basement, so we get our fair share of spiders, but nothing like this!!

I don't think I've seen a spider since I moved to Seattle. You should move here--closer to me and further away from those spiders!
